Joint Meeting with the Wilmington Section

Come join the Wilmington and Delaware Valley Sections as they jointly host an event on February 24th starting at 5:30 PM at the Delaware Biotechnology Institute located in Newark, Delaware for a tour followed by a networking dinner event held at the University of Delaware Blue & Gold Club.

Agenda: ·         A presentation overview of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute presented by Professor Kelvin Lee, Director of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute
·        
A presentation on “Novel Mechanisms for Drug Delivery” by Professor Millie Sullivan
·        
A presentation on “Strategies for Biofuel Production” by Professor Terry Papoutsakis
·        
Followed by a tour of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute
Background:

The Delaware Biotechnology Institute is located near the University of Delaware campus and is a partnership among government, academia and industry to help establish the First State as a center of excellence in biotechnology and the life sciences. The Institute’s mission is to facilitate a biotechnology network of people and facilities to enhance existing academic and private-sector research, catalyze unique cross-disciplinary research and education initiatives, and to foster the entrepreneurship that creates high-quality jobs.
