Abstract:
Attendees will receive an update on the on the latest codes and standards impacting industries across the USA who handle, process or store combustible particulate materials. NFPA 652 will be covered which provides opportunities for engineering companies who can help their clients meet the new requirement for a Dust Hazard Analysis. They will also be updated on the current explosion protection solutions and gain an understanding of the considerations for their implementation.
Biography:
Clive Nixon is a Sales Manager at BS & B Pressure Safety Management with 18 Years of experience in Industrial Explosion Protection. He wrote Appendix B in NFPA 654 and has provided training for OSHA, Insurance Companies, University of Wisconsin Professional Development, Fire Marshals, and technical conferences in the USA and overseas such as the Powder Show. He is experienced in providing explosion protection solutions to a broad range of industrial processes. He holds an ONC in Physics, a HNC Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and a B.Sc. Technical Communications from Northeastern.
