Industrial Internet of Things and its valuable impact on Instrument Reliability
We will show advancements and innovations in sensor health monitoring, that drives greater process and measurement reliability. Discuss digital tools, applications and connection techniques to best apply IIoT strategies across different stages in your plants journey.
Monday April 29, 2019
5:30 – 7:30 PM
Cost of Attendance:
$14 for all attendees
Hear about cutting-edge developments in the area of Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) and also take a tour of the Process Training Unit (PTU).
Dinner will be provided before the talk and tour.

About Eastern Controls:
Eastern Controls, Inc. is unique because of our PTU (Process Training Unit). ECI’s PTU is a full scale, working process plant with on-line instrumentation and controls integrated with the PlantPAx process automation system from Rockwell Automation. Our customers gain hands-on experience with the types of equipment, protocols, operation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting found in real life process plants.
About the PTU:
The PTU™, located in Edgemont, Pennsylvania, includes numerous fully functional flow, pressure, temperature, level and analysis instruments throughout a 5,000 square foot classroom and hands-on training space. The PTU™ also includes instruments by various other manufacturers Eastern Controls represents; such as Mine Safety Appliance (MSA), Masoneilan, O’Brien, Turck, and PBM. A few of the instruments located on the PTU™ are the Endress+Hauser’s Promass 83, which features direct continuous mass flow measurement; Endress+Hauser’s Promag 23P, which features bidirectional flow measurement; MSA’s Ultima XE Gas Monitor, featuring interchangeable smart sensors; and O’Brien’s Vipak enclosure, which protects instrumentation from harsh winter weather.
Closed-toe shoes will be required for the PTU™ tour.
