Join your friends from the Delaware Valley Section for Oktoberfest 2013 at Philadelphia’s own Yards Brewing Company, home of acclaimed craft beer. Guests, co-workers and friends are encouraged to participate. There will be a guided beer tasting, brewery tour, and good food!

Background:
When Yards opened in 1994, it resuscitated Philadelphia’s brewing legacy by ending a decades-long period without any operational breweries. Now in a new location in the thriving Northern Liberties Neighborhood​, Tom Kehoe’s 100% wind powered brewery -the only in Pennsylvania- churns out a yearly 12,500 barrels on its signature ales. Its unique “Ales of the Revolution”: line is based on recipes conceived by Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington.

Costs:
$40 per non-member (co-workers, spouses, friends are all welcome!)
$35 per member of Delaware Valley Section
$30 per young engineer (35 and under)
$20 per student (MUST BE 21 or older per Yards’ rules)

Deadlines: Register no later than Friday October 11, 2013. Cancellations received before October 11, 2013 will be fully refunded.
