Abstract:

This presentation will discuss the importance of creating a consistent positive, professional impression all through the interviewing process with the hiring company. This is essential to successfully make it through the staged interviewing process that most corporations employ in today’s challenging employment market.

Linda Messer will discuss what the recruiting process looks like from a recruiter’s point of view; what the recruiter looks for in a resume; and, how to handle the interview process.

It is essential to have a consistent professional image throughout your job search. The recruiter is looking for good communication skills, a clean profession appearance, punctuality, common courtesies, good manners and self-confidence. Most importantly, it is important to be sincere and genuine, since there is only one You. Linda will discuss practical Do’s and Don’ts in order to put your best foot forward in today’s demanding
employment market.
