Don Koestler is President of DJ Koestler, LLC, a company dedicated to teaching and consulting in concepts related to personal and organizational high performance. He is currently an Adjunct Professor in the Engineering Management Masters Degree program at Drexel University. Prior to that, he held management and leadership positions at Rohm and Haas Co. for over 40 years. He is a graduate of Villanova University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Alain Plante earned a bachelors degree in environmental engineering and masters degree in soil science at the University of Guelph, and a doctorate in soil science from the University of Alberta. He is now an Assistant Professor in Department of Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Trained as a soil scientist, Dr. Plante’s research emphasis is in soil carbon biogeochemistry and ecosystem ecology. He conducts research on the properties, mechanisms and processes that act to stabilize and de-stabilize carbon in soil, and seeks to understand feedbacks between soil carbon and the global carbon cycle.
