Abstract:
This lecture will discuss the concepts of stormwater runoff and rainwater catchment systems for non-potable water supply. Specific attention will be given to the installation of a rainwater catchment system installed in Kenya as a volunteer for Water Is Life Kenya Technical Engineering Committee.
Biography:
Bill is a Senior Project Manager for Hargrove Engineers and Constructors located in their Philadelphia office. He has led successful projects in the pharmaceutical, chemical, petroleum refining, and food industries. His project assignments range from early FEL through Readiness To Operate and include new manufacturing processes, handling highly hazardous substances, mechanical integrity upgrades, and utility & infrastructure improvements. In addition to Project Manager, he has served as a Process Engineering Resource Leader, Site Team Leader, and Process Engineer. He is a registered Professional Engineer and is certified as a Project Management Professional and an American Society of Quality Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
