2010 Continuing Education Course – Safety Interlock Level Assessment and Electronic Failures
Please join us for a new effort to provide continued education, dinner, and a great opportunity to network with old and new colleagues. This is the second process safety meeting and is a good opportunity to learn more about a very important topic – process safety – and for Professional Engineers to earn 2 PDH (Professional Development Hours) credits which are required by many states including Pennsylvania to retain PE active status. The session will include a workshop designed to provide hands on training with important process safety analysis techniques.
Scott and Bob will discuss the concept of Safety Interlock Level and electronic failures. They will present some real-life examples of the consequences of instrument failures, software failures and circuit board failures and what should have been done to prevent these.
