USDA Biotech Tour and DVS Networking Social

Did you know that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has a cutting edge research center right here in suburban Philadelphia?

The USDA’s Eastern Regional Research Center:

  • performs pioneering research in sustainable bioenergy, food safety, and health-promoting foods
  • was named a National Historic Chemical Landmark in 2007
  • invites YOU to a RARE tour of its pilot plants and fermentation labs

The Eastern Regional Research Center (ERRC) is one of the main research labs within the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), the research arm of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The tour will cover the pilot scale facilities at ERRC, with a focus on the biofuels research units.

Tour topics include: Biodiesel from Natural Oil, Fast Pyrolysis of Biomass, Supercritical CO2 Pasteurization, Innovations in Dairy Research, and Fermentation.

Before the tour, we’ll meet for a brief networking social, including a light dinner.

The tour is limited to 25, so sign up now! Don’t miss your chance for an exclusive inside look at USDA research! There are no limits on who can attend the networking social/dinner.
