A Science History Institute Event
Take pride in honoring our region’s historic role in advancing the chemical engineering profession in the United States by joining your AIChE-DVS friends and colleagues and making new ones at the Science History Institute for the annual Ullyot Lecture. The lecture is a combined networking opportunity and seminar, as well as an opportunity to explore the SHI museum in Philadelphia’s historic district. The AIChE at the national level became the third founding sponsor of the forerunner to the SHI in the mid-1980’s, some 75 years after its founding in Philadelphia. Our local section has also included programming with the SHI, then known as the Chemical Heritage Foundation, located at the University of Pennsylvania from the early 1990’s.
