Biography:
Dr Jakobs has a Diploma in Technical Chemistry and Doctoral degree in Chemical Engineering. His Doctoral thesis was research work describing the mass transfer in nanofiltration membranes. He has worked in plants and process machinery for nearly 20 years, becoming a specialist in mechanical and thermal separation processes. He is a member of the German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) and the Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA)
