Details:

Mark Schuck, Technical Leader, at Monroe Energy will provide an introduction including its history, processes, and products.

A high level bus tour of the Monroe Energy refinery will follow with a visit to the main process control center.

Background:

On June 22, 2012, Monroe Energy, LLC and its affiliate MIPC, LLC, purchased the Trainer refinery complex from the Phillips 66 Company and its affiliate. At the same time, Monroe entered into strategic supply and marketing arrangements with BP and Phillips 66.

The purchase price for the assets was $180 million and Monroe plans capital expenditures in the area of $100 million to modify the acquired assets to shifts its product slate to maximize the production of jet fuel. Monroe refines crude to produce products distributed through pipelines and barges to Delta Air Lines, BP, and Phillips 66.
