Abstract:
Drying is one of the most useful processing steps a producer can undertake for increasing the value and utility of their products. However, this process does not come without risks and dust explosions represent a real industrial hazard that should be considered for any existing or future drying process. This presentation will provide a primer on dust explosions, causes, and mitigation steps to be aware of in drying processes.
