Abstract:

The adaptation of continuous processing to OSD manufacturing more than an equipment or technology decision. The shift to continuous processing is a paradigm shift with respect to product development, operation, and quality control. This presentation will provide an overview of available technologies, challenges, impact, and some examples to illustrate the impact and relative cost.

Biography:

Mr. Rooney is a Pharmaceutical engineer and thought leader with over 30 years of experience in the design and construction of cGMP facilities in the US, Europe, and Asia. He specializes in secondary pharmaceutical operations including oral solid dosage and fill/finish.
