We will cover:

Pumping systems, including how to use system/head curves.
Understanding pump performance curves and how to calculate critical variables
The mechanical design of centrifugal pumps.
Specific applications in:
          Steam Power Plants
          Chemical Plants
          Refineries

Biography:

Doug Kriebel is a Principal at Anchor Pump and Engineered Equipment (previously Kriebel Engineered Equipment, Ltd.).

Doug has over 20 years of industrial experience He has a BSChE and is a Professional Engineer. He is on the board of directors AIChE-DVS, charter member of the Chemical Consultants Network, and a member of ISPE.

He has authored technical papers and lectures on pumps, pumping systems, and other process equipment related topics.

He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and was named the 2011 Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year by the Technical and Professional Societies of the Philadelphia Area.
